Crystal George is an artist raised on the streets of South America. Latin culture highly influences her work and her life. She has a BS degree in Commercial Art and has also studied at the Art Student’s league under Ron Sherr. She was a member of the Portrait Society of America for a number of years. She has shown her work at galleries in Indiana and Virginia and has placed in multiple juried shows. She currently makes her home in Lynchburg, VA.
I have always been fascinated with the human face and form and how it can be the physical expression of intangible emotion. I use mixed media-acrylic, photography and ink- to express ideas about humanity and about our human experience on canvas.
