This pottery workshop on the wheel will focus on altering the form of a vessel. The workshop will add to an intermediate skillset by exploring techniques to create unique vessels. Come learn how to make an altered vessel with instructor Bosco Bae on August 6, Saturday, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
*some wheel throwing experience required
*10 lbs of clay will be provided

Bosco began his journey with clay and the wheel in 1998. They have since become indispensable companions, teachers, and interlocutors in his life and finding a pottery studio, wherever he lives, is a constant priority. Bosco enjoys making functional as well as experimental and sculptural work. He joins the Academy Center of the Arts after working and experiencing studios in Salt Lake City, Boston, Chicago, Icheon, Tokyo, Prague, and Johannesburg. Bosco is also a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Lynchburg.
