Academy Mask Policy – Fall 2021

Any student under the age of 18 will be required to wear a mask for the duration of their camp/class. For any participant age 18+, masks are highly recommended and encouraged regardless of vaccination status.

Together let’s explore the world-famous artist Romero Britto’s art– we will travel through Pop Art, Cubism, and graffiti art + experience the love and warmth Britto illustrated through his bright colors and playful patterns. We will use Britto’s style– simplified forms, bold outlines, bright colors, + pattern– to create a pet portrait painting using acrylic + tempera paints. You are welcome to bring a picture of your favorite pet or animal for inspiration!
