Beginners and more advanced students will learn hand building techniques. Advanced students will continue to develop independent work supplemented with a demonstration each class. Demonstrations will cover use of underglazes, utilizing different techniques in a single piece, hand building larger, and complex forms. Students will be encouraged to develop a style with personal distinction motifs in order to complete a body of work by the end of the class.

REFUND POLICY
1. Classes without sufficient enrollment by the registration deadline will be canceled. Fees are 100% refundable for classes canceled by the Academy.
2. 85% of class fees will be refunded if you cancel a week or more before the start of class. If the withdrawal notice is received within one week (7 days) of the class’s first meeting, then there are no refunds issued.
PHOTO POLICY
The Academy Center of the Arts may use photos of students taken during class or events for any marketing promotions including print, web, social media, and video productions. If you or your child wish to not be included please inform the instructor with written notice at the first meeting. Crowd scenes or group photos are exempt.
