“To make pottery is an adventure to me, every work is a new beginning. Indeed, I shall never cease to be a pupil.” -Lucie Rie
Bosco began his journey with clay and the wheel in 1998. They have since become indispensable companions, teachers, and interlocutors in his life and finding a pottery studio, wherever he lives, is a constant priority. Bosco enjoys making functional as well as experimental and sculptural work. He joins the Academy Center of the Arts after working and experiencing studios in Salt Lake City, Boston, Chicago, Icheon, Tokyo, Prague, and Johannesburg. Bosco is also a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Lynchburg.
