All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket for this performance unless otherwise stated. All ages are welcome. This event is family friendly.
Videography and photography are permitted at this event, but we do ask that you show our visiting performers some love by crediting them and us in your social media posts.
The Academy Center of the Arts offers a diverse selection of entertainment. Not all productions may appeal to or be appropriate for every guest or for all ages. Ticket buyers should take responsibility for making informed decisions regarding their purchases. We recommend visiting the official show website of each show you are coming to see at the Academy. Gates will open 2 hours prior to the start of performances each festival day.
This event is rain or shine, please come prepared with necessary rain gear in the event of rain. This event will only be canceled for severe or unsafe weather conditions. Examples of ‘Severe/unsafe’ weather conditions include (but not limited to): wind, thunder/lightning, heavy rain or flooding, and /or tornado watch/warnings. The decision to cancel a concert time will not be made until the scheduled concert time or shortly thereafter. Should we need to cancel this festival, we will keep concert-goers informed via social media and our website.
Parking is throughout downtown Lynchburg. The parking map above shows all of the free public and paid parking available. In addition, street parking is also available on most streets. Accessibility parking will be made available along Jefferson Street only.
Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Our delivery methods are as follows:
Print at Home: This option allows you to print your tickets at home or access them on a mobile device via email.
Box Office Pick Up: You may stop by our Box Office, Monday through Friday, 12:00pm – 5:00pm, and have us print your tickets for you.
Will Call Pick Up: If your tickets are being held at Will Call, you can collect them inside the lobby at the Box Office counter.
All tickets for this show will be sold through academycenter.org and our ticketing system. Please do not use third-party resellers, as we do not contract with them. Should you use a reseller, the Academy Center of the Arts will not be liable for any issues with your purchase.
Armbands will be issued for each day of the festival, and can be used for all day admission.
Tents, tables and umbrellas are not allowed at this event. Foldable chairs and blankets are allowed in the seating room area, but not in our standing section. Outside coolers, water bottles and cups are not permitted into this festival. Bags will be searched at the door. No pets allowed, unless carrying a service animal permit. Smoking sections will be designated at this event- smoking is not permitted in the general seating area.
