This is a class designed for new crocheters and beginning crocheters who want to take their craft to the next level. We will focus on basic techniques, stitches, and skills to create complete crocheted projects. You will learn how to start and finish a crochet project, how to crochet flat vs. round, and how to start with foundation rows or a magic ring. In this 4 week class, you’ll have an opportunity to make small projects and work on a larger project that incorporates all of your new found skills. You will have an opportunity to choose patterns within the same skill level to make projects for you or your loved ones.

Supply List (Bring the following):

Various Types of Yarn: weights 3 & 4

Yarn Needle: A C & H Crochet hook

Instructor: Sarah Likins-Kissel

Sarah Likins-Kissel is an avid fiber crafter living in Lynchburg, VA

Sarah has been knitting for over 20 years, and has picked up crocheting and sewing along the way to create the perfect triumvirate of fiber crafting. Sarah loves to learn more about her craft, and is often trying new skills or patterns just for the fun of it. Sarah particularly loves making stuffed animals and amigurumi. When not crafting, she can be found drinking way too much Dr. Pepper, indulging in graphic novels or silly TV, or spending time with her husband and 4 fur babies.
