It’s time to celebrate the completion of the Academy’s theatre restoration campaign!
This event is for donors (at any level) who gave to the Academy Historic Theatre restoration campaign. Donors, be on the look out for an invitation in the mail with details about the event. For those who gave to the campaign, simply RSVP to [email protected] and we will be ready for you with free food and music.
*For supporters, who would like to celebrate with us but have not given to this campaign, we are making a limited number of $20 tickets available! These limited tickets cover food and live music by Jeff Carl, Chamomile and Whiskey, and the Tony Camm Band. A cash bar will also be available. Performing are Jeff Carl, Chamomile and Whiskey and the Tony Camm Band. All of these groups represent something special about our community. Jeff’s song about Lynchburg, “Here I’m Home,” has become an anthem for the city. Bluegrass influenced Chamomile and Whiskey are one of our area’s favorite bands, with most of its members hailing from Nelson County, Virginia. Finally, we have Tony Camm. Tony has become an entertainment icon in the Hill City. We are all coming together to celebrate an exciting future. A future where these musicians will have a beautifully restored 1905 theatre to perform in for the entire Lynchburg community and beyond.
