The Academy Center of the Arts is proud to present a new gallery exhibition each month featured in our Academy Galleries.
For the month of May, The Patricia Harrington Gallery Building will feature art from local and regional artists available for purchase via an online auction. The auction opens on Friday, May 5th at 5 pm, and closes the evening of the Blank Canvas Block Party (May 26). 50% of the proceeds from this auction will directly benefit the participating artists and the other 50% will support Academy community programming, specifically the Academy’s Artist Expansion Initiative and arts education access.
Be the first to see the auction pieces in person by attending the May First Friday event, Friday, May 5th, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
The Ann White Academy and Up Front Galleries are both located on the first floor of the Patricia Harrington Gallery Building located at 600 Main Street. The third Academy gallery is located in the Warehouse Theatre Lobby at the corner of 5th and Commerce Streets in the Arts & Education Building, which houses the Joy & Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre.
