Fridays on Fifth

A FREE Happy Hour Event in the Outdoor Beer Garden at the Historic Academy Theatre

About the Show:

To celebrate Summer, we’re opening up the Historic Academy Theatre courtyard and bringing our monthly Happy Hour event outside! Take in the sunshine while enjoying cold beverages, music, and great company in our private beer garden on Main Street from 5:30pm – 9:00pm on the last Friday of the month.

Drink specials will be served. Tours of the Historic Theatre will be available upon request.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

ACADEMY ANNOUNCES VENUE REOPENING GUIDELINES

The Academy Center of the Arts has always put our patrons, our supporters, and our community members first. That’s why, when COVID-19 began to spread throughout the region, we closed our doors ahead of official governing regulations, and why we continue to put tremendous thought into when and how we will reopen those doors to the public in the future.

Following Governor Northam’s Executive Order No. 65, we are officially releasing our plans to reopen our educational and gallery venues, as well as our guidelines for reopening our performance venues in the future.
