In honor of May Mental Health Awareness Month, the Academy Center of the Arts is excited to present Healing HeARTS, a mental health awareness day led by our new mobile arts program, Academy in Motion. Participate in free art activities, open to both individuals and the whole family, and connect with local health and wellness organizations from all around Lynchburg!

Nearly 1 in 5 U.S adults live with a mental illness, impacting both their own lives and the lives of their loved ones. The mental health of individuals all around the world has also been impacted by this past year of facing COVID-19.

Let’s join together as a community through the creative arts to raise awareness and support for mental health in our community!
