All 8 Magical Movies Screened in the Historic Academy of Music Theatre
The Harry Potter Movie Marathon features a full weekend of magic! Step into the Historic Academy of Music Theatre as it transforms into the wizarding world!
Enter Diagon Alley through platform 9 3/4 and stop by the Leaky Cauldron for a butterbeer before heading to Honeydukes for your taste of Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, Chocolate Frogs and more! Bring your wand to Olivanders and learn a few spells or create a house tie before entering the theatre and catch one (or all) of the 8 Harry Potter movies on our movie screen. You might even find your favorite wizards wandering throughout the theatre for a photo opportunity.
All ages may attend this event. Specialty drinks will be served for adults ages 21+.
Costumes are encouraged. Other activities include pre-show trivia, magical crafts, and more.

Parking is available on-site and throughout downtown Lynchburg. The parking map above shows all of the free public and paid parking available. In addition, street parking is also available on most streets.
Please note: If attending an event or performance after 5pm or on weekends, Lot 2 (Pacific Life Lot) and Lot 12 (Regional Business Alliance) are free and open to for public use. We suggest utilizing these lots, which are closest to the Academy Center of the Arts and within walking distance.
All ticket sales are final. There will be NO REFUNDS or exchanges for purchased tickets.
Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Our delivery methods are as follows:
Will Call: Tickets will be held at “will call” at the Box Office up to one hour before the show.
Print at Home: This option allows you to print your tickets at home or access them on a mobile device via email.
Regular Mail: For an additional fee, your tickets will be mailed to you ahead of the event.
Box Office Pick Up: You may stop by our Box Office, Monday through Thursday & Saturday from 10:00am – 4:00pm, or Friday 12:00pm – 8:00pm, and have us print your tickets for you.
Tickets held at “will call” that are not picked up by the beginning of the show may be re-sold at the discretion of the Box Office staff.
All tickets for this show will be sold through academycenter.org and our ticketing system. Please do not use third-party resellers, as we do not contract with them. Should you use a reseller, the Academy Center of the Arts will not be liable for any issues with your purchase.
All ticket sales are subject to a Historic Theatre Restoration Fee and credit/debit card processing fees.
