In partnership with Kuumba Dance Ensemble, this high-energy summer camp introduces students to the rich traditions of West African dance and drumming through movement, rhythm, and cultural exploration. Guided by experienced teaching artists, campers will actively engage in dance and hands-on drumming while learning about the history and cultural significance behind each style. Kuumba’s programs are rooted in community, creativity, and connection, offering students a welcoming space to build confidence, express themselves, and experience the joy of movement together.
