Few things speak to the wonder of St. Nick than the timeless poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Inspired by the timeless poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas” and by the real life of its author, Clement Moore. This story takes you into the home of Moore family the day before Christmas. With his daughter sick and the annual family Christmas poem not yet written Moore is stressed beyond measure. However, the spirit of Christmas is in the air and the story takes a magical turn. This well-written show is a beautiful expression of a father’s love and the mysteries of Christmas.

Virginia Repertory, formerly Theatre IV, has been internationally acclaimed for excellence as a theatre for young audiences. Based out of Richmond since 1975, they tour national-caliber, educational plays to schools and public venues in Virginia and across the country.
