The Academy Center of the Arts and Hill City Pride Present Pride on Stage: a Socially Distanced Drag Show at the Joy & Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre on June 5, 2021.

 

Bring your ‘pod’ and your dollar bills, and get ready for the best show in town! Hosted by the hilarious and beautiful Chicki Parm, this show features performances by Chicki herself,  along with the dazzling Mrz. Ivy Carter, LaBella Mafia, and Sweet Pickles. Grab your tickets below – but hurry, there are a limited amount of tables of four available.

 

Doors open at 7PM. The show begins at 8PM.

 

 

Performers and staff will be masked throughout the evening. Tips will be collected post performance to ensure adequate distancing between performers and guests. Tips may also be taken digitally through Venmo.

Warehouse COVID-19 Social Distancing Measures:

 

  • Initial shows will be seated, with tables sold in “Table for Four” configurations
  • Only 37 “Tables for Four” will be available each performance at this time
  • Tables will be positioned 6’ apart, with the front row of tables 10’ from the stage
  • Tables will not be permitted to be split into smaller configurations and/or resold. Patrons holding resold tickets will be denied entry and refunds will not be offered
  • All patrons in your “Table for Four” pod must arrive together to be seated. An arrival time is displayed on your PDF ticket, emailed to the primary ticket buyer as an attachment to their order confirmation.
  • No will call available. All ticket-holding patrons must bring print-at-home ticket or show their ticket on their mobile phones for scanning
  • Non-vaccinated patrons are encouraged to wear a mask while on-site
  • Concessions will be sold through table side and bar service
  • Venue security will enforce ground rules, which will follow current CDC and State of Virginia guidelines for indoor events

Age Requirement

All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket for this performance unless otherwise stated. All ages are welcome.

Camera Policy

Videography and audio recording during the performances are prohibited. Photography of the set on stage is allowed pre-show, post-show, and during intermission. But we do ask that you show our designers and visiting performers some love by crediting them (and by tagging us) in your social media posts.

Doors Open

Our lobby doors open 60 minutes prior to show time. House doors open 30 minutes prior to show time for seating. Special times may be listed on your tickets.

Inclement Weather

All indoor performances scheduled at the Academy Center of the Arts normally take place as planned unless otherwise stated.

Parking

Parking is available on-site and throughout downtown Lynchburg. The parking map above shows all of the free public and paid parking available. In addition, street parking is also available on most streets.

Please note: If attending an event or performance after 5pm or on weekends, the Lynchburg Grand Hotel parking deck, Lot 2 (Pacific Life Lot) and Lot 12 (Regional Business Alliance) are free and open to for public use. We suggest utilizing these lots, which are closest to the Academy Center of the Arts and within walking distance.

Ticket Policies

All ticket sales are final. There will be NO REFUNDS or exchanges for purchased tickets.

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Our delivery methods are as follows:

Print at Home: This option allows you to print your tickets at home or access them on a mobile device via email.

All tickets for this show will be sold through academycenter.org and our ticketing system. Please do not use third-party resellers, as we do not contract with them. Should you use a reseller, the Academy Center of the Arts will not be liable for any issues with your purchase.

All ticket sales are subject to a Historic Theatre Restoration Fee and credit/debit card processing fees.
