This evening’s theme will focus on LGBTQ heroes and icons- the subject in our image below is Marsh P Johnson, who was a cornerstone for LGBTQ activism.

The method is a form of monotype printmaking- known as trace-monotype -which is very easy to accomplish and creates a subject with a lot of texture and movement without a lot of artistic skill- also a very good method for those wanting to explore color after the printing process as you can paint or draw on top of the completed print.  This class is for 21+ only. With your class registration, supplies & a glass of wine is provided.

Instructor : Red Cesafsky

Red Cesafsky grew up in Lynchburg and graduated from Lynchburg College in 2018 with a BFA. They re-work and sell up-cycled clothing with fellow artist, Anna M. Filiaggi, and sell their services as a commission artist online. Studied a variety of hands-on art making processes, such as- pottery, drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture.
