Instructor: Christina Davis
Christina Davis is a local muralist and art instructor for Blue Ridge Montessori School and Onward Academy this Spring. She promotes enthusiasm for learning new mediums through popular subject matters like landscapes, strong female figures ,and anime! Her studio pieces have been exhibited at the Academy Center for the Fine Arts and participated in First Fridays on many occasions. She works on numerous community projects to bring more color , accessibility , and diversity through art.
Her passion for expressing her identity led her to become a self taught artist. When she isn’t teaching art, drinking coffee , or spending time with her daughter: She loves to create pieces that reflect her voice, color, and individualism . Her work captures the most fleeting moments, and the way she looks at the world. Focus on most of her series starts with a face or emotion, then she starts improvising during the process, and dark contour lines.
