Meet & Greet Add On:

A VIP Meet and Greet Pass is the best way to make your Richard Marx concert experience something you will never forget!  Get up close and personal with Richard before the show to meet him one-on-one for a photo and an autograph!

 

The VIP Meet and Greet Pass experience includes:
1) a limited-edition VIP Meet and Greet access laminate pass with lanyard
2) a one-on-one photo and autograph opportunity with Richard

 

Rules and regulations:
1)  Purchasing the VIP Meet and Greet Pass admits ONE PERSON per pass.  No exceptions.
2)  By purchasing the VIP Meet and Greet Pass, purchaser is agreeing that all rules and regulations stated herein have been read and are understood.
3)  Concert tickets are not included with the VIP Meet and Greet Pass.  All VIP Meet and Greet pass purchasers must also purchase a concert ticket from the venue box office or ticket outlet.  Concert tickets must be purchased separately
4)  Purchased VIP Meet and Greet Passes will be available at the venue will-call box office for pickup starting two hours before the venue doors open prior to the start of the performance.
5)  Purchaser must be at the venue will-call box office with photo ID at the time required to pick up purchased passes and enter with the other VIP Meet and Greet Pass holders before the show.  Refunds or other forms of compensation will not be provided should the purchaser be late or unable to attend.
6)  Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate with no exceptions.  Refunds or other forms of compensation will not be provided should access be revoked due to these circumstances.
7)  Richard Marx management reserves the right to refuse the sale or cancel a VIP Meet and Greet Pass at any time for any reason for any person.
8)  A VIP Meet and Greet Pass does not guarantee any set amount of time with Richard.  Note that this is a shared experience between the purchaser and a limited number of other pass holders.  Please be respectful of other pass holders time and experience to ensure everyone has a great time!
9)  All VIP Meet and Greet Pass sales are final and are not transferrable to other venues / dates.
10) All VIP Meet and Greets will begin approximately 40 minutes before the start of the concert.  Venue ushers will direct purchasers on where to assemble for admittance.

Age Requirement

All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket for this performance unless otherwise stated. All ages are welcome.

Camera Policy

Videography and audio recording during the performances are prohibited. Photography of the set on stage is allowed pre-show, post-show, and during intermission. But we do ask that you show our designers and visiting performers some love by crediting them (and by tagging us) in your social media posts.

Content Advisory

The Academy Center of the Arts offers a diverse selection of entertainment. Not all productions may appeal to or be appropriate for every guest or for all ages. Inclement Weather

All indoor performances scheduled at the Academy Center of the Arts normally take place as planned unless otherwise stated.

Parking

Parking is available on-site and throughout downtown Lynchburg. The parking map above shows all of the free public and paid parking available. In addition, street parking is also available on most streets.

Please note: If attending an event or performance after 5pm or on weekends, Lot 2 (Pacific Life Lot) and Lot 12 (Regional Business Alliance) are free and open to for public use. We suggest utilizing these lots, which are closest to the Academy Center of the Arts and within walking distance.

Ticket Policies

All ticket sales are final. There will be NO REFUNDS or exchanges for purchased tickets.

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Our delivery methods are as follows:

Will Call: Tickets will be held at “will call” at the Box Office up to one hour before the show.

Print at Home: This option allows you to print your tickets at home or access them on a mobile device via email.

Regular Mail: For an additional fee, your tickets will be mailed to you ahead of the event.

Box Office Pick Up: You may stop by our Box Office, Monday through Thursday, 10:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 12:00pm – 8:00pm, or Saturday 12:00pm – 4:00pm and have us print your tickets for you.

Tickets held at “will call” that are not picked up by the beginning of the show may be re-sold at the discretion of the Box Office staff.

All tickets for this show will be sold through academycenter.org and our ticketing system. Please do not use third-party resellers, as we do not contract with them. Should you use a reseller, the Academy Center of the Arts will not be liable for any issues with your purchase.

All ticket sales are subject to a Historic Theatre Restoration Fee and credit/debit card processing fees.
