Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band performance has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 24th, 2022, at 7:30pm in the Historic Academy Theatre.

Ticket holders, your tickets have been automatically transferred to the new performance date.

Per artist requirement, all patrons will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (second shot at least 14 days before the event) or take a COVID-19 diagnostic test within 72-hours before the event and provide proof of negative result to door staff prior to entering the venue. No at home tests accepted. All patrons are recommended to mask inside the venue at all times except when consuming food or beverage in designated locations. Prolonged periods of mask removal are not permitted.

 

Ticket holders that are unable or unwilling to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of COVID-19 diagnostic negative test result may contact the Box Office in advance by phone at (434) 846-8499, M-F, 12PM-5PM, or by email at [email protected] to coordinate a refund or ticket donation within 48 hours.

 

The Academy Center of the Arts ask that any visitors exhibiting signs of illness, fever, or those in direct contact with the COVID-19 virus stay home. Refunds may be facilitated through our Box Office, M-F, 12PM – 5PM, by phone at (434) 846-8499 or by email at [email protected]

Health & Safety Guidelines

In order to protect those in attendance, enhanced safety measures and protocols will be in place including contactless digital ticketing and mobile ordering options for concessions.

Acceptable forms of COVID-19 vaccination proof are…

  • Physical COVID-19 vaccination card.
  • A picture on your phone or mobile device.
  • Patrons can also log in to vdh.virginia.gov on their personal device to access their COVID vaccination record.
  • Patrons who have an iPhone may add their vaccination card to their Apple Wallet. Learn more by visiting support.apple.com.

 

COVID-19 diagnostic negative test result…

  • A dated COVID-19 diagnostic test (lab or rapid) must be taken 72 hours in advance at an appropriate testing site (CVS, Walgreens, etc.).

 

 

All patrons are recommended to wear masks inside the venue at all times.

Note that the event producer and Artist may change dates, times, and/or venues depending on the current COVID-19 environment. Ticket buyers will be updated by the Academy Center of the Arts staff, should any change to schedule or venue occurs.

Age Requirement

All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket for this performance unless otherwise stated. All ages are welcome.

Camera Policy

Videography and audio recording during the performances are prohibited. Photography of the set on stage is allowed pre-show, post-show, and during intermission. But we do ask that you show our designers and visiting performers some love by crediting them (and by tagging us) in your social media posts.

The Academy Center of the Arts offers a diverse selection of entertainment. Not all productions may appeal to or be appropriate for every guest or for all ages. Doors Open

Our lobby doors open 60 minutes prior to show time. House doors open 30 minutes prior to show time for seating.

Inclement Weather

All indoor performances scheduled at the Academy Center of the Arts normally take place as planned unless otherwise stated.

Parking

Parking is available on-site and throughout downtown Lynchburg. The parking map above shows all of the free public and paid parking available. In addition, street parking is also available on most streets.

Please note: If attending an event or performance after 5pm or on weekends, Lot 2 (Pacific Life Lot) and Lot 12 (Regional Business Alliance) are free and open to for public use. We suggest utilizing these lots, which are closest to the Academy Center of the Arts and within walking distance.

Ticket Policies

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Our delivery methods are as follows:

Print at Home: This option allows you to print your tickets at home or access them on a mobile device via email.

Box Office Pick Up: You may stop by our Box Office, Monday through Friday, 12:00pm – 5:00pm, and have us print your tickets for you.

Will Call Pick Up: If your tickets are being held at Will Call, you can collect them inside the lobby at the Box Office counter.

All tickets for this show will be sold through academycenter.org and our ticketing system. Please do not use third-party resellers, as we do not contract with them. Should you use a reseller, the Academy Center of the Arts will not be liable for any issues with your purchase.

All ticket sales are subject to a Historic Theatre Restoration Fee and credit/debit card processing fees.
