Historic Academy Theatre
December 19, 2020

About the Event:

Santa Claus visits the Historic Academy Theatre on Saturday, December 19, 2020, for a COVID-19 friendly photo opportunity with his life-size Snow Globe!

Register your group or household to visit Santa in his snow globe and pose for the perfect Holiday photos on the Historic Academy Theatre stage, taken by our on-site photographer, following a Holiday craft experience in the Lobby. Two-three professional photos of your group will be taken and each child will be able to take home their Snow Globe craft immediately following the photo session.

Photos will be delivered within three (3) days via a dropbox link.

Visit with Santa in a safe, socially-distanced environment at the Academy Center of the Arts! Please note, no more than 25 patrons will be in the space at one time, following the amended Executive Order made by Governor Northam on November 13, 2020. Photos with Santa will be taken with your group on the Historic Theatre stage as Santa sits contained in a large snow globe. No person-to-person contact will take place for these photos.

Patrons attending this event must note:

  • Patrons should arrive at the Historic Academy Theatre turnaround, located on Main Street before the Fifth Street light
  • Patrons should arrive 5 – 10 minutes before your designated 15-minute time slot
  • Refunds will not be issued for those who miss their time slot
  • Patrons will participate in a health and safety screening, including temperature checks, prior to entry
  • Any patron experiencing signs or symptoms of illness will not be admitted

We thank you in advance for your understanding, promptness, and patience. It is our highest priority to provide each group with a safe and fun holiday experience, which requires our staff to follow COVID-19 health and safety measures while limiting congregation on-site.
