Lynchburg VA center for arts, culture, and community building
Shower the People: A Tribute to James Taylor” is a heartfelt musical act that celebrates the timeless songs of one of America’s most beloved singer-songwriters, James Taylor. Mottley’s intricate guitar work sounds like Taylor is in the room and shows a genuine love for Taylor’s music. Including classics like Fire and Rain, Carolina in My Mind, and You’ve Got a Friend and newer gems as well, fans old and new will love this authentic journey through James Taylor’s iconic catalog.
Clay Mottley is an award-winning songwriter in his own right, and currently performs with multiple acts, including national touring country star Tony Jackson, Blair’s West Band, and Love Story Band, as well as his own solo shows. Mottley has written and recorded 4 albums of original material, available anywhere you stream music. Follow on social media @ClayMottley and at claymottley.com.
