In this online class, students will apply the technical knowledge they learned in SmArtphone Photography and learn the basics of photo composition, lighting, and how to use their phone cameras to create visually interesting and technically sound images!
Topics covered will include composition basics, creating a still life for photography, and lighting basics.
Editing and shooting will all be done on the Lightroom Mobile App for this class. Students will need their own smartphone that can run the free Adobe Lightroom Mobile app.
Students are recommended to gather some materials for a still life prior to the start of class: a small table lamp or flashlight, a white piece of paper, tape, and still life materials.
Recommended still life materials:
- Stuffed animals, etc.
Students will be using their still lives and light sources to experiment with light direction and photo composition so please make sure you have these items on hand when the class begins!
