This is a general introductory camp in Stage Combat. Students learn the basics in the mechanics of conflict and acting it truthfully, Stage Combat Safety, and necessary skills using characterization and finding the acting baseline (why are we doing this?). We will work on the actor’s approach to stage combat, use of the body, movement and style. We want to create an environment in which the actor is safe, truthful, while still keeping the scenes interesting.
