Adult Beginner Street Jazz Class: This class consists of a dance style that combines hip hop and jazz, we will be dancing more to pop inspired songs with movements that are more fluid and “flowy”. This is one of my favorite styles to teach and is super fun to learn!
Adult Beginner Hip Hop Class: This class will consist of sharp, hard hitting movements. We will be learning moves to popular and old school hip hop songs. You will be able to find your groove in this class!
All experience levels welcome! This is a judgement free zone.
Dress Code :Wear something comfortable as if you are going to the gym to work out! Wear sneakers.
Instructor : Shania Thorpe
Shania is originally from PA but currently resides in VA. She officially began her choreography journey at the age of 15 when she created the first ever dance/step team at her high school. Since then Shania has begun teaching workshops at studios all down the east coast, choreographing for competition teams, working as a featured choreographer for Lynchburg Dance Connections annual showcase, coaching dance and cheer teams for a university, etc. She works in every area whether that be with studios, for weddings, “girls night out parties”, quinceneras, etc. I do it all! You will find me in a different state/city everyday dancing!
