 NO BS! Brass Band comes to Lynchburg, VA for an outdoor and socially-distanced show at the Pacific Life Parking Lot for our Sunset on 7th Series.  Overlooking Downtown Lynchburg and the Academy Center of the Arts’ mural, this venue offers a picturesque setting for an evening of live music and social(ly distanced) gathering through the summer of 2021.

 

Enjoy the show from your own personal parking space pod, allowing up to 10 guests per space. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and chairs, as seating is not provided.

 

Doors open at 4PM. Music starts at 5:30PM with Tony Camm and the Funk Allstars.

 

Please note that this event is rain or shine.

 

Tents, umbrellas, canopies, pop-up shades, outside coolers of beverages, and/or beverage containers may not be brought into the venue. Food will not be served on-site, however, outside snacks and food are allowed on-site and served within your pod. 

 

Masks will be mandatory, except when guests are in their pods. All beverages and merchandise will be sold on-site. Guests are encouraged to socially-distance while queuing for beverages, restrooms, and merchandise.

 

Note that this show is NOT a drive-in event. Ticket buyers will enter the venue physically to attend this event.

In order to protect those in attendance, enhanced safety measures and protocols will be in place including contactless digital ticketing, distanced seating, and face-covering requirements, and mobile ordering for beverages. 

 


      

Sunset on 7th Event Rules:

 

  • Initial shows will be sold in GA Pod configurations only
  • A limited number of pods are available per show. Pods may accommodate up to 10 guests maximum
  • No single tickets will be sold
  • Tents, umbrellas, canopies, and pop-up shades may not be brought into the venue. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs, as well as ponchos
  • Outside coolers of beverages, and/or beverage containers are not allowed. Food will not be served on-site, however, outside snacks and food are allowed on-site and served within your pod
  • Dogs are not allowed to accompany their owners to this event unless they are a service animal. All dogs will be turned away at the gate
  • Pods are set up in alternating rows to allow for social distancing
  • Pods will not be permitted to be resold. Patrons holding resold tickets will be denied entry and refunds will not be offered
  • All guests in your pod must arrive together to be allowed into the venue. An arrival time is displayed on your PDF ticket, emailed to the primary ticket buyer as an attachment to their order confirmation
  • No re-entry allowed
  • No will call available. All ticket-holding guests must bring print-at-home ticket or show their ticket on their mobile phones for scanning
  • Guests will be carded and banded for purchasing alcohol sales at the entrance
  • Guests must wear masks at all times, with exception to eating or drinking or when in your Pod
  • All beverages and merchandise will be sold on-site. Guests are encouraged to socially-distance while queuing for beverages, restrooms, and merchandise
  • Venue security will enforce ground rules, which will follow current CDC and State of Virginia guidelines for outdoor events
  • This event is rain or shine. The Academy Center of the Arts will do its best to keep you updated through our website close to each event on the weather forecast for the evening of each concert. Events will only be canceled if the weather is severe and unsafe. Severe weather would be defined as, but not limited to; wind, thunder and/or lightning, flooding, or a tornado watch/warning. The safety of our guests, performers, and staff are our main priority in the event of severe weather. The decision to cancel a concert will not be made until the scheduled concert time or shortly thereafter and with the safety of all those in attendance in mind. Please note that refunds will not be available for weather-based issues.

10 Person Max Party Pod: $150.00 plus City of Lynchburg Amusement Tax

 

Pods of up to ten (10) guests will be sold for this event. Pods will not be permitted to be split into smaller configurations and/or resold. Patrons holding resold tickets will be denied entry and refunds will not be offered
