Academy Mask Policy – Summer 2021
Any student under the age of 18 will be required to wear a mask for the duration of their camp/class. For students who are 18+, masks will be optional, but recommended. Any staff or crew that has been vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask. If they have not been vaccinated, they will be required to wear a mask.
Wet on Wet Painting is a spontaneous method of working a painting from start to finish. It frees the painter from the constraint of waiting for oil paint to dry. It helps oil and acrylic artists create painterly brushstrokes and freeform color while teaching how to handle paint on the painting surface.
In The Art Spirit Robert Henri said, “The possibilities of color are wonderful. A study entrancingly interesting and unlimited.” We’ll explore color possibilities through color temperatures, proportion and limiting palette colors to achieve color harmony.
