Learn how to create plaster texture slabs and drop molds to expand your clay forms. Participants will create two (2) one piece forms out plaster for personal studio exploration and one (1) piece to aid in the studios community development. These forms will further the vocabulary of the hand-built clay form. The forms themselves will be created through the use of found objects sculpted forms. One day class with instructor, Justin Rice
REFUND POLICY
1. Classes without sufficient enrollment by the registration deadline will be canceled. Fees are 100% refundable for classes canceled by the Academy.
2. 85% of class fees will be refunded if you cancel a week or more before the start of class. If the withdrawal notice is received within one week (7 days) of the class’s first meeting, then there are no refunds issued.
PHOTO POLICY
The Academy Center of the Arts may use photos of students taken during class or events for any marketing promotions including print, web, social media, and video productions. If you or your child wish to not be included please inform the instructor with written notice at the first meeting. Crowd scenes or group photos are exempt.
