Academy Mask Policy – Winter 2022 *updated Jan 5, 2022
Due to the rise in Covid cases in our area, the Academy Center of the Arts requires that all students participating in our classes regardless of vaccination status wear a mask while on our campus. All staff are required to wear masks while on site regardless of vaccination status.

Instructors Ted Batt and Anna Ellis:
Ted is Director of the Visual Arts Program at the Academy Center of the Arts, which includes the management of the May Carter Pottery Studio. Ted has been working in clay for over 25 years.
Instructor: Anna Ellis
Anna is a Lynchburg native who has always had a passion for the arts. She studied at VCU in Richmond Virginia. However, it wasn’t until 2009 that she took a pottery class at CVCC, and fell in love with the medium. After taking what was offered at community college, she made her way down to the Academy.
