Young children will love this art camp as they create artwork inspired by nature and the beauty even found in fungi. The instructor will begin each day with an inspiration from something found in nature, followed by an art project that applies techniques, color, and observation found in looking at the natural world. Join us as we get a little closer to what makes the outside beautiful.
Instructor: Rachel Shaw
Rachel Shaw has taught middle school art at Dunbar Middle School for 16 years. Her passion is being able to teach art to children of all ages. When Rachel isn’t teaching, she is most likely found outside in the woods and mountains with her dogs. Which is why you may find strong environmental concepts in her art lessons, due to her love of the outdoors, hiking, gardening, and animals.
