Cost: $225 before Feb 24 | $250 after Feb 24 ____________________________________________ Join us during Spring Break at the Academy for a week long musical theatre camp! During the week, students will participate in rehearsals and musical theatre classes, all ending in two public performances! Everyone who participates in the camp will have a role but there will be auditions for specific parts. The Addams Family

Cost: $450 before April 6 | $475 after April 6 _________________________________________________ This camp for high schoolers features a four week comprehensive program for rising 9th graders – 18, designed to help youth learn the art and craft of theatre in a challenging and collaborative atmosphere. Students will participate in musical theatre classes in addition to rehearsing the show. This camp will be rehearsing and performing in our Historic Academy of Music Theatre. _________________________________________________ ABOUT THE SHOW: THE ADDAMS FAMILY, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. James and the Giant Peach Jr.

Registration opens January 27th at 9:00am. Cost: $300 before April 6 | $325 after April 6 _________________________________________________ This is a two week theater program for middle schoolers! At the end of 2 weeks, students present performances of a popular family musical. Everyone who participates in the camp will have a role but there will be auditions will be held for specific parts. This camp will be rehearsing and performing in our Historic Academy of Music Theatre. _________________________________________________ ABOUT THE SHOW: When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant piece of fruit across the ocean, facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way. _________________________________________________ Payment plans are available. Students ages 8 – 12 are cast in a popular family musical that you will love! Everyone who participates in the camp will have a role but there will be auditions will be held for specific parts. This camp will be rehearsing and performing in our Historic Academy of Music Theatre. _________________________________________________ ABOUT THE SHOW: Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother’s protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Peter and the Starcatcher

Middle and High School students will learn and perform a play (non-musical) after two weeks of rehearsals along with participating in various theatre classes. This camp will be performing in our Historic Academy of Music Theatre. _________________________________________________ ABOUT THE SHOW: A young orphan and his mates are shipped off from Victorian England to a distant island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. They know nothing of the mysterious trunk in the captain’s cabin, which contains a precious, otherworldly cargo. At sea, the boys are discovered by a precocious young girl named Molly, a Starcatcher-in-training who realizes that the trunk’s precious cargo is starstuff, a celestial substance so powerful that it must never fall into the wrong hands. When the ship is taken over by pirates – led by the fearsome Black Stache, a villain determined to claim the trunk and its treasure for his own – the journey quickly becomes a thrilling adventure. _________________________________________________ Payment plans are available. Compass Creative Dramatics: Wizard of Oz

Registration opens January 27th at 9:00am. Cost: $200 before April 6 | $225 after April 6 _________________________________________________ Students will go from auditions to performance in just five days with Compass Creative Dramatics, a Chicago-based touring theatre who will be hosting a week-long theatre residency at the Academy. Students in grades 1 – 12 will stretch their creativity and bravery muscles through daily rehearsals. Students also perform alongside two professional actors during the week and will participate in acting classes from those directors in the afternoon! No acting experience necessary – just come ready to be silly and have fun! This camp will be rehearsing and performing in our Joy and Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre.
