  Haunted Historic Theatre Tours Presented by Member One Credit Union and Watts Creative Studios     In 1911, the Historic Academy of Music Theatre was partially destroyed by a mysterious fire in the Manager’s apartment. Since then, the building just hasn’t felt the same. Join our staff and in-house paranormal team as we investigate the unexplainable happenings, murmurs, and ghosts that lurk in the wings during the month of October.   Every Wednesday in October, you can experience the chilling haunting of the Historic Theatre on our exclusive Haunted Theatre Tour! Be prepared for goosebumps, and remember: as long as you stay with the group, you’ll be just fine.   Tours are limited to 50 and run twice per night, at 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Instructor: Kenny Weinfurtner Painting portraits require exacting skills, learned in this class, that all painters will find useful. The class will focus on colors of the face, proportions of the head, methods for achieving a likeness, edges, brushstrokes, and value. We will also investigate portraits by traditional and non-traditional artists.     Community Through Theatre Presents: Ain't Misbehavin' A sassy, sultry musical celebration of legendary jazz great, Fats Waller     Assembled under the expert eye of director/lyricist, Richard Maltby, Jr., Ain't Misbehavin' is one of the most popular, well-crafted revues of all time and winner of the 1978 Tony Award for Best Musical.   The inimitable Thomas "Fats" Waller rose to international fame during the Golden Age of the Cotton Club and that jumpin' new beat, swing music. The GRAMMY® Award-winning sextet has spent nearly two decades bending and shaping the bluegrass aesthetic, wedding it to elements of pop, country, and folk rock to create something original.
