The Academy Center of the Arts’ staff are thrilled to join our Board of Trustees in announcing the 2019 Gala, featuring a performance by Postmodern Jukebox on Saturday, September 21, 2019, in the Historic Academy Theatre. With a 1920’s Gatsby-Party theme, this elegant evening will highlight amazing music and essential community support.

Featuring Postmodern Jukebox
Started by Scott Bradlee in 2009, Postmodern Jukebox has dazzled audiences with their now-famous vintage renditions of modern pop songs, playing hundreds of shows to sold-out houses across six continents. They’ve also performed on shows like Good Morning America, topped iTunes and Billboard charts, and caught the attention of NPR music, NBC news and a wide array of celebrity fans.

The Postmodern Mixer features a 1920’s lounge atmosphere where Gala attendees can take advantage of the open bar, heavy hors-d’oeuvres, and pre-show entertainment from Flat Five Jazz all before the 2019 Gala even begins.
Doors open at 5:00pm. The Postmodern Mixer begins in the Warehouse Theatre at 5:30pm.
