The Academy Center of the Arts presents Spooky Saturday, an all-day event celebrating the spookiest holiday of the year!
Join us at the Joy & Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre for one (or all) of our three spooky events. At 10:30am, we’ll kick off the day with the Boo Bash for kids and parents. After a few hours of monster mashing, we’ll begin our Pumpkin Party painting and carving contest at 2:00pm. Amateurs and professionals of all ages are welcome to enter! After a few ghostly hours of friendly competition, we’ll open doors for the Wicked Warehouse, a halloween dance for ages 18+.

2018 Spooky Saturday Events

10:30am – 12:30pm
The Boo Bash is a party just for kids! Paint a pumpkin, show off your awesome Halloween costume, dance to the monster mash with our DJ, and party like the “ghoul” kids!
Tickets: General Admission ($15.00) tickets include pumpkin painting, snack & drink, and admission to the dance party and costume parade.
2:00pm – 6:00pm
The Pumpkin Party is a competition for amateur and professional pumpkin carvers/painters to show off their skills while competing for a range of prizes and awards.
Entry Fees: Entry fees include $10.00 for amateurs and $20.00 for professionals. Fees include entrance to the competition and one pumpkin. Carving and painting materials are not provided. The public may watch for free.
8:00pm – 12:00am
Who said Halloween was just for kids?! At the Wicked Warehouse, you’ll party with the Dundies, or should we say the Deadies, grab a signature spooky drink with your friends, and compete for crowd favorite in our costume contest!
Tickets: General Admission ($10.00) tickets include admission to the event.
All ticket sales are final. There will be NO REFUNDS or exchanges for purchased tickets.
Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. Our delivery methods are as follows:
Print at home: This option allows you print your tickets at home or access them on a mobile device via email.
Regular Mail: For an additional fee, your tickets will be mailed to you ahead of the event.
Box Office: You may stop by our Box Office, Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, and have us print your tickets for you.
All tickets for this show will be sold through academycenter.org and our ticketing system. Please do not use third-party resellers, as we do not contract with them. Should you use a reseller, the Academy Center of the Arts will not be liable for any issues with your purchase.
All ticket sales are subject to a ticketing fee and credit/debit card processing fees.
