The Joy and Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre – This unique theatre has beautiful oak flooring and draping to cover the walls or be pulled aside to reveal on one side, a restored historic brick facade including 4 lovely arched windows.
Capacity – The Joy and Lynch Christian Warehouse Theatre (5000 sf) will seat 300, theatre or banquet style, or 400 for a cocktail party.
Lobby – the 40′ x 45′ (1800 square feet) lobby is easily accessible, attractively decorated and can accommodate small meetings or receptions of up to 100 people.
Parking – Available on Main Street, Commerce Street, and Church Street, free after 5pm & on weekends. Hourly parking at the Holiday Inn Select, across the street. The Genworth parking lot may be available by special arrangement.
Dance Floor – There is no need to rent a dance floor when using our theatre. Our entire floor is a sprung wooden floor designed for dancing.
Kitchen – Our kitchen is equipped with double ovens, cook top, a refrigerator/freezer and microwave oven.
Technical Staff – Our technical staff is available to assist with your event.
Technical Equipment – The Academy’s lighting, sound systems, staging and other technical equipment are available.
Dressing Rooms – Each dressing room is equipped with showers, toilets, and mirrored makeup counters.
Box Office – The Academy’s Box Office is located adjacent to the Lobby.
