The Academy Center of the Arts is excited to announce a new ticketing system, along with a revamped website!
Thanks to feedback from patrons like yourself, we recently decided to upgrade our online ticketing system to simplify the ticket buying process. The new system comes with a host of new and convenient features, including a real-time view of all available seats, the ability to buy multiple tickets at once, and the power to manage your account online!
Below, we’ve outlined the steps to get a password, sign in, and secure seats for your next class, event, or performance! If you’re not a fan of reading, jump to the bottom of the page to view our ‘how-to’ video!
Your Account
As a thank you for being a customer and supporting the Academy Center of the Arts, we’ve automatically created an account for you! If you’ve been to a show before, you may get this message after signing up for the first time: “User [your email address] already exists in the system.”
Don’t worry, it’s not a mistake (and you didn’t forget anything)! It’s just how the system is; simply follow these steps to receive a password and sign in.
1. Select ‘My Account’ in the Navigation Bar
This will take you to the log in prompt screen. Click or tap on the black ‘Forgot Your Password?’ link.
2. The ‘Recover Password’ Screen will Appear
Enter your email address and click or tap on the purple ‘Recover Password’ button.
3. You will be Directed back to the ‘Login Screen’ with a Confirmation Message
A blue confirmation message will appear saying “Your new password has been successfully sent to the specified email address.”
4. You will Receive an Email with your new Password
Open your email website/program/app. You will receive an email from [email protected] with the subject Your AudienceView Password. The email will include a password of randomly-generated letters and numbers.
5. Return to the Academy Ticketing Website and Select ‘My Account’ from the Navigation
In the text boxes, enter your Username: [your email] and your new Password: The new password from the email you received in Step 4. Then, click or tap the purple ‘Login’ button.
6. You will Arrive on a Screen Telling you that your Password has Expired
Ignore the error at the top of the screen and follow the instructions to create a new password. When you make up your new password, write it down or save it somewhere so you will remember it for future ticket purchases. Tap or click the purple ‘Change Password’ button.
7. Success! You have now Created an Account!
You should now be on the My Account page with your name and the message “Your password has been successfully changed!” You can now edit your account information and make purchases on the Academy’s site!
