As a kick-off to the Academy Center of the Arts’ 2020 Fall Campaign, The Academy is…, the Academy has partnered with local and regional artists to offer a Virtual Art Auction, opening to public bidding 9/4/20-9/18/20.
The Art Auction will raise funds to benefit both the Academy Center of the Arts, funding the Arts Access Program, and the participating artists.
In addition to raising awareness and funds for our organization, it is vital that we use our platforms to do the same for our area artists and performers. The impact of COVID-19 on the performing and visual arts industry is widespread and that impact is not limited to large performing arts venues only. Artists and performers from our community are also suffering and it is our goal to also support them during this time.
Public access to the auction begins September 4, 2020, with an in-person First Friday opening, and continues online through Friday, September 18, 2020. Private in-person viewings of the show may take place by appointment, Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm, by contacting [email protected].
