In response to the current stay-at-home order in Virginia and amid COVID-19, the Academy Center of the Arts has pivoted our strategies to take current birthday party opportunities online, so that our patrons and supporters may still enjoy our offerings, even when at home!

Virtual Birthday Parties
The Academy provides the opportunity to engage in unique birthday experiences for you and your family. Even held virtually – we promise that it will be a day you and your family will remember for years to come.
Cost: $150.00
Time Frame: 90 minutes
Participants: 12-15

Paint Party:
- 60-minute paint lesson with skilled Academy-hired instructor
- Private Zoom-hosted virtual ‘room’, link shared with host
- Painting supplies included for participants *Curbside no-contact pickup*
- Gift exchange location for guests to drop-off gift for the birthday boy or girl *Curbside no-contact drop-off*
- Academy branded swag catered to your party theme
Drawing Party:
- 60-minute drawing lesson with skilled Academy-hired instructor
- Private Zoom-hosted virtual ‘room’, link shared with host
- Painting supplies included for participants *Curbside no-contact pickup*
- Gift exchange location for guests to drop-off gift for the birthday boy or girl *Curbside no-contact drop-off*
- Academy branded swag catered to your party theme
Dance Party:
- 30 minutes with instruction from local professional dancer, followed by 30 minutes of freestyle dance
- Private Zoom-hosted virtual ‘room’, link shared with host
- Gift exchange location for guests to drop-off gift for the birthday boy or girl *Curbside no-contact drop-off*
- Academy branded swag catered to your party theme
Costume/Character Party:
- 30 minutes with your favorite character (Elsa, Aladdin, etc.) as they read a book or lead the group through a simple craft or activity
- Private Zoom-hosted virtual ‘room’, link shared with host
