The Exhibit
Alex Sayer is a Lynchburg-based artist who discovered her passion for painting after college, embracing the creative process with enthusiasm. She quickly immersed herself in the art world, dedicating herself to daily practice and exploring ways to bring photos and ideas to life through her work.
Her artistic journey includes studying under Inez Berinson Blanks and showcasing her work in numerous exhibitions, including The Academy, Riverviews Art Space, Magnolia Foods, St. John’s Church, and other local venues. Currently, she displays much of her work at Findings Art Gallery in Lynchburg, VA.
Her portfolio is diverse, featuring florals, landscapes, figure studies, and abstract pieces. Texture plays a significant role in her work, adding depth and emotion while enhancing each painting’s expressive quality. Through her art, she continues to explore and push creative boundaries, making each piece a unique reflection of her vision.
