Director of Finance

The Academy Center of the Arts is looking for an exceptional finance leader to guide the accounting functions for Lynchburg’s treasured arts venue. The candidate will develop, implement, and manage all finance/accounting, internal control, budgeting, and cash management functions and provide solid business analysis to help continue the great momentum at the Academy. Candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting and significant nonprofit accounting experience. Salary: $75k-$85k plus benefits.

Interested in interning at the Academy Center of the Arts? Internships at the Academy provide hands-on experiences through special projects and individualized attention by department staff.

Internships are offered in most of the Academy’s departments, including marketing, visual arts, development, education, operations, technical theatre, and more.
