Charlottesville Ballet: Lynchburg’s Nutcracker presented by Blue Ridge Bank
Join Lynchburg’s resident dance company for an enchanting 90-minute performance of The Nutcracker. Follow the story of Clara on her adventure through the Lands of Snowflakes and Sweets as she meets friends and foes alike. Experience Tchaikovsky’s treasured score with live music conducted by Benjamin Rous of the Charlottesville Symphony and collaborations with Cantate Children’s and Youth Choir and Central Virginia Ballet. This holiday classic features the professional company and over 100 community dancers from across Central Virginia!

Your child can experience the magic of The Nutcracker by taking a ballet class on stage with Clara and her friends! Perfect for boys and girls ages 3-8, participants learn introductory ballet steps and capture precious moments with the dancers.
All-inclusive $70 tickets to the performance + “Class with Clara” are only available in the VIP seating section (orchestra center) with free drinks and magical cocktails for adults 21+. All VIP guests need a ticket to the performance + special event and children must be accompanied by an adult; lap babies are free.
We encourage children to sport their finest apparel for the occasion, whether formal attire, princess tiaras, or charming holiday outfits.

Camera Policy
Videography and audio recording during the performances are prohibited. Photography of the set on stage is allowed pre-show, post-show, and during intermission. But we do ask that you show our designers and visiting performers some love by crediting them (and by tagging us) in your social media posts.
