Lynchburg VA center for arts, culture, and community building
We all know that the basics of acting are script memorization, knowing you’re blocking, etc., but what comes after that? How do you take your character to the next level? This course will teach students industry acting basics with easy-to-approach vernacular and methodology. Whether it’s for upcoming auditions, that scene you have to prepare for class, or the next show you have booked, after taking this course, students won’t just know what to say when they’re onstage, but also why they’re saying it. All students will need to prepare a 1 – 1 1/2 min monologue.
