Lynchburg VA center for arts, culture, and community building
Neal Tosi: Neal is our host with the most. He will have you laughing between comics. You just never know what he might say! Neal caught the performing bug while growing up in the theaters of Lynchburg. He took his passion for comedy to Chicago, training and performing in one of the country’s top improv scenes before bringing that experience back home. Now, he’s the driving force behind Hill City Improv, working to build a thriving arts community in Lynchburg.
Tim Smith: Tim Smith is brand new to the stand-up comedy scene but he sets the stage with stories about his upbringing and everyday life that will get your funny bone tingling! Tim’s a native of High Point, NC but Lynchburg has been his home for the last 18 years! Grab a drink and get comfy as Tim takes the stage to open the night!
Kathleen Davis: Kathleen is all over Lynchburg! You may catch her on the stage with the Chapstix or out and about helping out with so many volunteer organizations we’d have to write a separate post just to list them all. As a stand-up comic Kathleen has been making audiences laugh since her days in Atlanta’s comedy scene, where she spent over a decade performing at iconic spots like Relapse Theatre and The Laughing Skull. Her routine combines an eye for the absurd and a talent for storytelling. Expect plenty of wit, a few questionable life choices, and relatable humor.
