The Academy Center of the Arts is proud to present a new gallery exhibition each month featured in our Academy Galleries.

Join the Academy every First Friday of the month from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, as we unveil our latest art exhibits, featuring an array of local, regional and national artists presenting their works in various mediums.

The Ann White Academy and Up Front Galleries are both located on the first floor of the Patricia Harrington Gallery Building located at 600 Main Street.

National Juried Photography Exhibit

Music by Sheldon Potter. Sheldon Potter started singing when he was 5 years old. He has studied and performed a variety of genres including Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Musical Theater, and Classical music. He has traveled and sung with multiple groups both nationally and internationally. Sheldon worked with Deborah McDuffie as a vocal coordinator for multiple shows and recording projects at the Ritz Theater and Museum in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. He has recorded lead vocals and background vocals for a variety of projects and currently serves on the worship team at All Peoples Church in Lynchburg, Virginia.
