Lynchburg Beacon of Hope presents HOPEx

Time: March 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Venue: Historic Academy Theatre
Cost: $25 – $100

Lynchburg Beacon of Hope proudly presents HOPEx, our third annual live-speaker evening of storytelling and inspiration.  This year, our narratives will explore “The Exponential Power of Connection.”  Our storytellers, young and seasoned alike, will share how connections redefine our sense of purpose, impact us in profound ways, and create inspiration for positive change.

Mainstage speakers will include:

  • US Air Force General Steve Wilson, a distinguished military leader with a wealth of strategic expertise, offers a unique perspective on leadership, resilience, and the power of lifting others
  • Physician, Philanthropist, and former NFL Player Samkon Gado shares stories of connections across oceans, anonymous generosity, and sheer determination
  • Historian and local podcaster Billy Hansen explores the beauty in an unlikely connection which changed two lives forever
  • Local comedienne and Curious Historian Kathleen Davis will led us as our Emcee for the evening,
  • And five young Lynchburg students will share their stories of the exponential power of connection

HOPEx is brought to you by Lynchburg Beacon of Hope and the generous support of Presenting Sponsor, Centra Health. Spotlight Sponsors include Moore and Giles, Framatome, Innovative Wireless Technologies, Select Bank, and Foster Fuels.
