ABOUT THE CLASS
This class is for any artist wishing to develop oil painting skills or anyone working in acrylics and are interested in oil paint.
In this session we’ll investigate:
– Palette knife painting
– Light sensitivity
– Using contrasts to tell the story
– Expressing ideas
– Shifting value and color keys to change a scene.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Kenneth Weinfurtner holds a BFA in Studio Art and a BA in Art History from the University of Kentucky. He earned an MFA in Studio Art from Radford University.
Mr. Weinfurtner currently teaches art at the Academy Center of the Arts in Lynchburg and at his studio, PennyStone Studio, located in Madison Heights, VA.
