Eugene Archie is a self-taught wood sculptor from Amherst, Virginia, with over 20 years of experience transforming driftwood into powerful, expressive works of art. What began as carving small wooden necklaces evolved into large-scale sculptures inspired by nature and ancestral heritage. Guided by intuition and reverence, Eugene sees discarded wood as a canvas for spiritual and cultural storytelling. Alongside his work in home improvement, he uses sculpting as both meditation and creative release.
