Pick a plant, paint a plant! Each student will get to select a live tropical plant to do a painting of. You can select from a variety of potted house plants, and paint your very own plant. At the end of class, you will take home your plant and its portrait. Students will be working with acrylics on canvas, and will be experimenting with various textures and techniques to emphasize and enhance the plant colors to make a vivid painting.
