ABOUT THE CLASS
Improve your drawing skills or learn to draw by drawing portraits in this six week class devoted to basic drawing techniques such as line, tone, proportion and perspective. We’ll explore gesture, anatomy, balance and composition all the while applying these principles to drawing from photographs, masterpieces, and possibly a live model.
This class promises to be exciting for beginning and more seasoned artists alike.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Kenneth Weinfurtner holds a BFA in Studio Art and a BA in Art History from the University of Kentucky. He earned an MFA in Studio Art from Radford University.
Mr. Weinfurtner currently teaches art at the Academy Center of the Arts in Lynchburg and at his studio, PennyStone Studio, located in Madison Heights, VA.
