The Art of Florals: Beginning Acrylic Floral Painting Class Series

Tailored for adults and perfect for beginners, this 6-week class meets once a week and offers a vibrant, creative escape into the world of floral painting. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or hoping to build your skills, this series is designed to be fun, encouraging, and inspiring. Our Toby  will walk you through the process of creating beautiful floral artwork—from loose, expressive blooms to more detailed botanical studies.

Here’s what you’ll learn:
• The essential materials and tools for acrylic floral painting
• Foundational brush techniques and how to layer color effectively
• Basic color mixing with a focus on floral palettes
• Step-by-step methods for painting a variety of flowers and foliage
• Composition tips and how to bring life and dimension to your floral pieces

By the end of the series, you’ll have created a collection of floral paintings and developed the confidence to continue your painting journey beyond the classroom.

We’ll provide all the materials you need, but you’re welcome to bring along:
• Snacks and drinks
• Your favorite acrylic brushes or canvas panels if you have them
• A sketchbook or journal to record floral ideas, color notes, and inspiration
