Art entries are open to grades K-12 in Lynchburg, Campbell, Amherst, and surrounding counties!
The Academy Center of the Arts and BWXT Technologies invites students to create pollinator-inspired artwork for our upcoming juried show! All mediums are welcome and work can be submitted by using the linked entry form.
Please mount the artwork on Foam Core, cardboard, or another stiff backing with two points of contact (glued paper clips work well). Work can also be on canvas boards.
Artwork is due by August 31, 2023 and can be dropped off at the ACOA Warehouse building.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd, place prizes per grade level (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) available, including cash prizes and swag!
Artwork will be displayed in the BWXT Youth Gallery throughout September and October. Reception and awards on October 6, at 6:00 pm in the Academy Center of the Arts Warehouse at 519 Commerce St, Lynchburg, VA 24504.
